Welcome!! The Connecticut Public Transportation Council is an independent advisory group advocating for all forms of Connecticut transit, including bus, railroad commuters, and all other forms of public transportation.
Council members are appointed by the Governor and senior leaders of the General Assembly. We work with the Department of Transportation and the various rail and CT transit service providers to bring forth the experiences of bus and rail commuters and ensure their voices are heard. We are committed to improving the commuting experience for everyone.
